Dust Mites
Dust mites live in upholstered furniture, carpets, and mattresses. They
feed on shed human and animal skin scale. In order to stay hydrated,
dust mites must absorb their moisture needs from the air. If the relative
humidity is below 50 percent, dust mites dessicate (dry out). Their
appetites increase as the relative humidity climbs. This is significant
because their fecal material is the source of the dominant dust mite
allergen. Ninety percent of the population that experience any allergybased
sensitivities react to the dust mite allergen.

A Good Indoor Air Quality



Indoor air quality may be the most important element in keeping your room a healthy and pleasant place to stay. Good quality air is air that can be breathed continuously without risk to health. Poor quality air can irritate eyes, skin, nose and throat. It can cause mental fatigue, headaches, a stuffy nose, and other flu-like symptoms.

Most of the people think that a high indoor air quality consider as a clean air, and not polluted air. As long as the air was purified, then it consider as a healthy air for human body. If you having the same view of point, then let us brief you some information:

Air pullution is getting serious. Compare to last decade, we no longer can enjoy a clean and health air anymore. A poor air breath into human body will increase the percentage of lung cancel. Besides, we will easy to get sick, less energy, and facing Sick Building Syndrome. Therefore, a clean air is so important. Our Lung is the one who filter the air when we breath in. So, make sure the air you breath in is safe and clean instead of burden up your lung.

Dust, pollen, pet dander, mold spores, dust mite feces can act as allergens, triggering allergies in sensitive people. Smoke particles and volatile organic compounds (VOCs) can pose a risk to health. Clean air is used to reduce the concentration of these airborne contaminants and are especially useful for people who suffer from allergies and asthma. They also reduce the need for frequent household cleaning.

b) with Negative Ion

Negative Ion is like a Vitamin in the air which is a must towards a healthier body. Smell, smoke and dust ect. exist in the atmosphere as positive (+ve) ion are harmful to people. The ionizer adopted in the unit can emit plenty of negative (-ve) ions to neutralize the positive ions in the air. Therefore the quantity of positive ions in the air will be decreased and the atmosphere will be cleaner.

c) Room humidity between RH50% to RH70%
Eexcessive humidity can stimulate the growth of microbes. On the other hand, if the air is too
dry, static electricity builds up and particles become suspended in the air where they can be inhaled or cause skin rashes. You may suffer from dry skin, nose and throat irritation, nosebleeds, headaches, or dizziness from dry air.

~办公室综合症与负离子的联系~


新建的办公楼一般均安装空调,空调能给人提供比较适宜的温度,同时也不可避免地带来一些弊端。如缺乏自然通风,空气流通不畅,人们呼出的大量二氧化碳、吸烟产生的烟雾、某些办公设备像复印机散发的有害气体积聚其中

空调系统里有水分滞留,成为某些细菌、霉菌和病毒的“藏污纳垢”之地。有学者测定空气中负离子的含量判定空气的洁净程度,每立方厘米空气中含有1000至2000个阴离于是人体健康的基本要求,阴离于浓度低于50个/立方厘米将诱发疾病,而许多密闭的空调房间中阴离子浓度竟低于25个/立方厘米。   


复印机、电脑、激光打印机等现代办公设备,在工作中由高压静电场作用而产生大量的苯并芘、二甲基亚硝胺等有机废气。这些有机气体可致使人的皮肤起皱、出现黑斑;它还破坏人体的免疫机能,加速衰老、致使孕妇生畸形儿。   

此外,建筑物本身也可能释放某些有害物质。首先是建筑材料及装饰材料。建筑大楼中的混凝土、石膏板、天然大理石、花岗岩等建材,常残存微量放射性物质,如镭、铀等;涂料、粘合剂、油漆等装饰材料则释放高浓度的甲醛、二甲苯等有毒有害气体;常用的塑料制品也会缓慢释放有机物。   


总之,在办公室存在着浓度比室外高出几十倍的有害气体,是导致“办公室综合症”的直接原因。美国环保[EPS]曾报道:来自居室和办公室的有害物质比周围环境的有害物质更易引发癌症的发生。加拿大卫生组织的一项调查显示:68%的疾病病因源于室内空气污染

~办公室综合症(建筑物综合症)~

当您在办公室工作或者在屋子里休息时,是否有以下症状:
头痛、晕眩、嗜睡、疲倦、甚至出现呼吸不畅、心率不齐、精神紊乱等症状?
您是否也像我曾经一样, 觉得这是普通及无影响力的症状呢?如果是的话,那您就大错特错了!

这可是世界五大治病的凶手之一啊!世界卫生组织(who)则称之为“建筑物综合症”。德国人称之为“星期一病”,美国人称之为“重复使力伤害症(简称RSI)”。严重的话, 还能导致癌症呢!

何为办公室综合症?
办公室综合症是一种社会职业病。 现代办公设备,如:复印机、电脑和激光打印机在使用中,会产生高浓度臭氧和有机废气;办公室内的装饰材料、空调系统会产生多种污染物质。

这些污染物质致使人们一上班就出现而当人们一旦离开办公室,上述症状就会减轻或消失。除此之外,办公室综合症还表现为腰颈酸痛、视力模糊、神经衰弱、呼吸不畅、心率不齐、记忆衰退等比较常见,心烦意迷、精神紊乱、忧心忡忡、未老先衰也不在少数
简单来说: 办公室或屋子里的空气污染将导致 ‘办公室综合症’。

办公室综合症的真正原因:

1. 办公室里的有害空气主要源自建筑装饰,油漆、胶合板、刨花板、泡沫填料、内墙涂料、塑料贴面等材料均含有甲醛、苯,甲苯、乙醇、氯仿等有机蒸汽,都具有相当的致癌性。

  1. 2. 还有一些则来自建筑物自身,比如北方冬季施工加入的防冻剂,会渗出有毒气体氨。地下土壤和石材、地砖、瓷砖中的放射性物质形成的氡,是一种无色无味的放射性气体,对人体危害极大。
  2. 3. 现代办公设施的污染。复印机、打印机、传真机等设备在给人们带来方便快捷的同时,也带来了臭氧、辐射与电子雾等污染。在写字楼中使用的杀虫剂、涂改液、化妆品等等也会产生对呼吸系统、神经系统有刺激的一氧化碳、二氯甲烷等物质。

  3. 4. 室内空气中的气态污染源还来自香烟烟雾(尼古丁)、清洁剂(甲酚)等,它们有的会附着在颗粒物上被消除掉,但大部分会被室内的其他人员吸入口肺部。这些气态污染可能引发肺炎、支气管炎、慢性肺阻塞和肺癌。

6. 中央空调系统都存在新鲜风量不足、缺乏维修清理的问题,也会使室内悬浮物增多,加剧空气污染。

7. 长时间坐在狭窄的办公桌中不走动,血液减低了循环,它被凝固的可能性也会提高。如果长时间无法活动双脚即会导致脚部深静脉出现血块,从而阻塞血管。一旦形成相当大的血栓(血凝块),并通过血管流入肺部内,就会阻止氧气输入。大块的血凝块,可在4分钟内让人毙命,该症状称为“办公室综合症”。

8. 由于血液循环差,心脏、大脑得不到充分的营养供给,久坐办公室的人往往有头疼、头晕、易疲乏、记忆力衰退等症状,这些症状也称为“办公室综合症”。
